Love Island star sparks rumours he’s secretly married as his model girlfriend wows at Miami swim week
LOVE Island star Josh Le Grove has hinted that he has secretly married his model girlfriend.
The hunk – who appeared on the show in 2022 – proudly branded Mataya Sweeting his ‘wifey’ as she strutted her stuff during Miami Swim Week.
And Mataya, 25, fueled the fire as she replied calling him ‘hubby’ alongside a series of love hearts.
The Sun first told how Josh was dating American TikTok star Mataya last year.
Mataya has more than 1.9 million followers on TikTok and is usually based across the pond, but often spends time in UK with Josh.
The pair like to keep their relationship mostly private, but do give fans a glimpse of their romance from time to time on TikTok.
Josh rose to fame on Love Island in 2022 when he was originally coupled up with Danica Taylor, but ended up connecting with Summer Botwe.
Despite only being on the show for eight days, Josh has had huge success since leaving and is now a very successful model.
He regularly shares work snaps with his followers and is often seen travelling around the world.
After his stint in the villa, Josh shocked fans when he revealed he secretly tried to quit the villa and spent 40 minutes a DAY in therapy.
He also blasted producers as he complained about being banned from talking to co-stars about his issues without the cameras rolling.
He told Secure the Insecure podcast with Johnny Seifert: “I was in welfare for 20 to 40 minutes every day just because the only place that I could actually get stuff off my chest.
“For a good four days I was ready to leave when I left I was upset because I felt like that was the final day that I got probably that connect with Summer. But my head was gone.
“After a while, I was ready to leave two days before I left, I was in welfare saying ‘how do I go about leaving, I’m not feeling it anymore’.
“Yeah, it can get you down. And when you don’t have a break, to go off and keep yourself to yourself.”
